TECH NOTES
           This is a 1/72 Scale F2H-3/-4 Banshee Plastic Model Kit
                          from Academy Hobby Models.

     The F2H Banshee was developed from the FH-1 Phantom, the Navy's first
fighter aircraft.  The Banshee was used as a fighter-bomber and reconnaissance
aircraft in Korea, and became the Navy's standard carrier-based all-weather
fighter for much of the 1950's.  The F2H-3 and F2H-4 were among the first Navy
aircraft to be launched from the USS Hancock during initial tests of the new
steam catapult.

FEATURES: Medium grey plastic pieces molded to sprue trees.
          Clear pieces for canopy included.
          Single seat cockpit.
          Recessed panel lines give authentic look.
          Detailed cockpit and landing gear.
          Wingtip tanks.
          Full armament package.
          Detailed pictorial instructions.
