TECH NOTES
  This is a plastic 1/72 Messerschmitt Bf109E-3/4/7/Tropical "Augsburg Eagle"
        Airplane from Academy Plastics.  It's for experienced modelers.

     The Bf109 was one of the most advanced aircraft designs of its time and
featured leading edge slats, all metal construction, and retractable landing
gear.  The E-model is famous for its role in the Battle of Britain.

FEATURES: Detailed 1/72nd scale for static display only.
          Markings included for one aircraft.
          48 parts in light grey and clear with delicate recessed panel lines.
          Optional early unframed (E-3) and late heavily framed (E-4,7)
            canopies.
          Optional standard and tropical air filters and two types of spinners.
          Cockpit detail: seat, armour plate, instrument panel with decal,
            rudder pedals, trim wheel, and control stick.
          Centerline bomb rack and bomb included.
          Service History: German Luftwaffe 1940-42.
          Description: Single engine, short range, single seat fighter.

MARKING
OPTIONS:  Single sheet of Scalemaster decals which contains national insignia,
            unit markings, instrument panel, and code letters.
          Kit markings are for a Battle of Britain era Bf109E-3.
          Top Surfaces: Grey-Green RLM O2/Dk Green RLM 71 camouflage.
          Bottom Surfaces: Lt Blue RLM 65.
          Additional Paints Required:
            Flat: Black, Aluminum, White, Red, Green.
            Gloss: Silver, Gun Metal.
