ACY2174 Academy Plastics 1/72 P-47D Thunderbolt Bubbletop
TECH NOTES
This is a 1/72 Plastic P-47D Thunderbolt "Bubble Top" from Academy Plastics.
It's for ages 10 and up.

The P-47D was a workhorse of the U.S. Army Air Force during the last half
of WWII. The P-47D was equipped with a 2,000 horsepower R-2800 "Double-Wasp"
engine. Thanks to the great engine the P-47 was an agile craft despite its
large size. This unique combination of abilities made it perfect for bomber
escort roles and ground attack. One of the most notable changes ever made to
the Thunderbolt was the installation of a "bubble" canopy, a modification that
greatly improved flight visibility.

FEATURES: Plastic pieces attached to sprues and molded in grey.
The surface of the plane is decorated with fully engraved panel
            lines and rivet detail.
Highly detailed cockpit interior, landing gear, and landing gear bay.
          Authentic engine assemblies with propellers.
Underwing accessories such as bombs, rocketry, and extra fuel cells
            really dress this model up.
Clear plastic canopy allows close inspection of cockpit.
Detailed pictorial instructions guide you through assembly.
