BILB2576   Billing Boats   1/75 Bluenose 76cm

TECH NOTES

This is the Bluenose Sail Boat by Billing Boats.  The Schooner Bluenose has a
very special place in the history of navigation and yachting.  Built to fish
off the Newfoundland coast, the ship soon turned out to be such a fast sailer
that she won all the great classical regattas along the USA's Eastern coast.
It was built in Nova Scotia in 1929,  and shipwrecked near Haiti in 1946.

FEATURES: Lazer-Cut Wood Hull and Deck.
          Includes Brass and Plastic Fittings.
          Sails are Made of Woven Cloth.
          This Boat is for Static Display.

INCLUDES: Fittings, Hardware, Wood for Hull and Deck, Plans and Instructions.

          Length: 88 cm
          Beam: 13.5 cm  (the beam is the widest part of the boat)
          Scale: 1:75

REQUIRES: CA Glue, Paint, Hobby Knife, Flat Edge Metric Ruler, Sandpaper,
            Razor Saw.

COMMENTS: This is a two star kit.  Billing Boats rates their boat on a scale
            of zero to three stars, zero being the easiest to build and
            three being the most difficult.  This is NOT for beginners.

Mahogany Stain is recommended per Billings, customer may wish to visit their
local hardware store for a urethane stain.
 
THE BLUENOSE IS A 1/75TH SCALE OF THE ORIGINAL.  FEATURES LAZER CUT WOOD FOR THE
HULL AND DECK.  INCLUDES FITTINGS FOR SCALE APPEARANCE AND WOVEN CLOTH SAIL.
REQUIRES PAINT, CA GLUE, SAND PAPER, HOBBY KNIFE, AND RAZOR SAW.
