TECH NOTES
       This is the PHOTON SPEED MOTOR (20 turn, single wind) from Duratrax.
             This is the stock motor found on the Duratrax Evader.

COMMENTS: BREAK-IN
            For proper break-in, use a 3-5volt power source, run the motor with
            no load.  The contact patch should take up at least half of each
            brush's surface.  Do NOT use more than 5volt power, as the
            commutator may be damaged.

          MAINTENANCE:
            Brushes wear out!  Continuing to use worn brushes will ruin the
            commutator and interfere with its ability to conduct electricity
            (the worn part of the commutator will appear dark).  Overhaul your
            electric motor often.  Inspect the brushes at the first sign of
            wear usually after 5 to 10 Nicd packs are run).  Inspect and
            clean the Brush Holder frequently.  The contact between the brush
            and the commutator becomes bad if the brush holder is filled
            with dust or dirt.  If brushes show sign wear, replace the pair.
