TECH NOTES
       This is the radio controlled, glow powered, almost ready to fly
                     Great Planes Seawind .60 Airplane.
                For Intermediate to Advanced Modeler/Flyers.

FEATURES: Construction: Fiberglass fuselage with balsa and plywood wings and
            tail section
          Wings: Plug-in installation for easy transportation, also has
            fiberglass wing floats to support the model while in water,
            aluminum wing joiner
          Fuselage: Constructed of fiberglass with self draining auto bailer
            that drains water out of rear of plane
          Covering: Covered in Top Flite MonoKote in White (TOPQ0204)
          Radio Compartment: Plywood reinforced, easily accessible under wing
          Cowling: Pre-painted fiberglass
          Wheel Pants: Pre-painted fiberglass
          Hull: Constructed of fiberglass, shaped to make airplane come up on
            the "step" quickly quickly for fast take-offs
          Landing Gear: Fixed pre-bent, 0.16" (4mm) thick wire for main and

          Wheels: Three foam 3" (76mm) diameter
          Aileron Control: Dual servo
          Spinner: Aluminum, 3 blade, 2.5" (64mm) diameter

          Foam Stand: Holds model during construction and starting engine, also
            prevents damage to water rudder when model is sitting on ground

COMMENTS: Robart makes tri-gear retracts (ROBQ1622) especially for this model.
            If using these, an Air Kit (ROBQ2307) and Air Line Quick Disconnect
            (ROBQ2395) are also required.
          This airplane can be flown off water with the optional retracts
            installed. The amphibian nose wheel cover must be taped in place
            with clear box tape. The retracts MUST be disabled during water
            take offs and landings.
          The aircraft cannot take off from land and then land on water or vice
            versa.
