     This is a Giant 3/4" Scale Balsa P-47D Thunderbolt Flying Model Kit
                               from Guillow's.

     The Republic P-47 Thunderbolts were developed as the result of a 1940 Army
Air Force demand for a fighter aircraft able to escort and provide cover for
American bombers carrying out raids over enemy territory.

FEATURES: A balsa skeleton framework is assembled and covered with a tissue
            and dope finish.
          Designed to be flown rubber powered, .049 free flight or .09
            control line.
          The fuselage is roomy enough to accept simple R/C equipment (with a
            .049-.07 engine) but instructions and diagrams for this are not
            included.
          Makes a magnificent display piece if built as a non-flying model.

BALSA. INCLUDED IS A CLEAR CANOPY, WHEELS, PROP, RUBBER BAND, AND DECALS .THIS KIT
CONTAINS MOLDED CANOPY, PILOT, INTERIOR, DROP TANK, AND BOMBS. THE PLANS SHOW AN
OPTIONAL GLOW ENGINE INSTALLATION FOR CONTROL LINE. THE MODELER CAN PAINT THIS
TO SUIT. THE CLEAR AEROGLOSS AND THINNER IS TO PREPARE THE BALSA FOR COVERING.
