LAT2003   Latina   1/100 Liberty

TECH NOTES

This is the 1/100th scale LIBERTY by Latina.  This boat is an all wood replica
of the clipper used during the American war of Independence as blockade
runners and later on in the opium and slave trades and in 1849, became means of
transporting gold.  This is a Skill Level 3 Kit for Intermediate Boat Modelers.

FEATURES: Hull shell is made of artwood.  This is a material made out of wood
            particles and fibers craftly mixed with adhesive resins, then
            molded into shape.
          Realistically detailed fitting set including parts constructed of
            the following: Brass, Acetate, Glass, Cast, Cloth, Galvanized Wire
            and Cotton Thread.
          Wood planking
          Cloth sails
          Plans and Instructions

INCLUDES: Molded hull, fittings, planking, rigging, plans and instructions

Latina recommends Mahogany stain for this, we no longer carry any, but the
customer should be able to purchase this at any hardware store.

THE ORIGINAL CLIPPER USED IN THE AMERICAN WAR OF INDEPENDENCE AND LATER FOR
TRANSPORTING SLAVES, OPIUM AND GOLD.
