MID992 Midwest Seguin Tugboat w/Hardware R/C
TECH NOTES
This is the Radio Controlled Electric Powered Midwest Seguin Tugboat Kit.
Launched in Maine in 1884, this tugboat was named after Seguin Island.
FEATURES: One piece fiberglass hull.
Pilot house and cabin are assembled from interlocking die and laser
cut wood parts.
Micro cut quality basswood scribed sheeting for deck and pilot house
sides.
12 volt motor.
Four blade brass propeller.
Stainless steel propeller shaft.
Brass stuffing tube with bronze bushings.
Vacuum formed plastic lifeboat, pre-formed wooden water barrel.
INCLUDES: One Electric Powered Midwest Sequin Tugboat with 12 volt motor, prop,
prop shaft, instruction sheet, decals, full size plans, lifeboat,
brass couplers, rigging thread, stuffing tube, pre cut wood and
display cradle.
REQUIRES: 2 channel radio with one standard size servo, electronic speed
control, 12 volt sealed battery for motor, building tools, glue
and paint.

COMMENTS: The prototype of this model was painted with two different types of
paint, the Midwest Apprentice Boats Paint Kit which is used to
seal and paint all of the wood structure, and Testors Enamel for
the outside of the hull.
