TECH NOTES

This is the O.S. Max .12TG-X Off-Road R/C Vehicle Engine with Pull Starter
and 12E Rotary Carburetor.

FEATURES: ABL (Advanced Bi-metallic Liner) This process uses a double layer of
plating material rather than one thick layer. This helps the metal
bond to the cylinder and is more durable. Also, the plating process
is more consistent, resulting in a more precise fit between piston
and sleeve for better compression, longer life.

INCLUDES: O.S. Max .12TG off-road pull start engine with 12E carb,
#8 glow plug, silicone exhaust ring, two engine mount spacers and
four M3x14 mounting screws.

COMMENTS: Also available without pull starter, OSMG1988

Some points on Slide Valve and Rotary Carburetors-
Rotary Carbs offer a larger response in the middle of the engine's
power band. This is desirable for off-road applications where
throttle response must be varied.
Slide Valve Carbs provide greater response at the beginning and end
of the power band. This works well for on-road and racing vehicles
demanding fast take-offs and high speed.

FEATURES: REAR EXHAUST, ABL PLATED CYLINDER LINER, PRACTICAL RPM RANGE 5000-
30,000 RPMS, 0.7 BHP AT 28000 RPMS. INCLUDES #8 GLOW PLUG, MANIFOLD GASKET,
MOUNTING SPACERS AND SCREWS.
REQUIRES: FUEL-18% LUBRICANT/10-20% NITRO, GLOW STARTER, TUNED PIPE & HEADER.
