TECH NOTES
          This is the O.S. Max 21VG(P) Electric Start, Rear Exhaust
          Monster Truck and Buggy Engine with Pilot Type Crankshaft.
          Excellent mid-range power for 1/8 scale buggies and trucks
                    to compete in ROAR sanctioned events.
FEATURES: Preinstalled E.S. Starter backplate is designed to use the Duratrax
            Kwik-Pit Super Start (DTXP6005) for the HPI Savage or the HPI
            Roto Starter System (HPIP8711), see COMMENTS
          Advanced Bi-Metallic Liner (ABL) cylinder liner construction
            This process uses a double layer of plating material rather than
            one thick layer. This helps the metal bond to the cylinder and is
            more durable. Also, the plating process is more consistent,
            resulting in a more precise fit between piston and sleeve for
            better compression and longer life.

          Car blend nitromethane fuel with 10-30% nitromethane content, 20%
            nitro content recommended as starting point
          Most of the fuels we carry meet or exceed the lubricant content
            required for optimum performance and maximum engine life. In the
            past, the conventional lubricant content used in fuel was 18%. But
            with new advanced technologies, fuels like Red Alert and O'Donnell
            for example, have a better quality of lubricants even though the
            percentages of lubricant content are lower. These high-tech
            lubricants provide exceptional cooling and protection.

COMMENTS: Some notes on Slide Valve and Rotary Carburetors:
            Rotary Carbs offer a larger response in the middle of the power
            band. This works well for off-road applications when throttle
            response must be varied.
            Slide Valve Carbs provide greater response at the beginning and end
            of the power band. This works well for on-road and racing
            applications for fast take-offs and high speed.
