TECH NOTES

This is the Four Stroke O.S. Max FS-26S-C Version II
1/10 scale Touring Car Engine.
Can be used with any 1/10 scale touring car where low end torque and a
quieter more realistic sound is desired.
Low torque band of this engine makes it ideal for use with
a 2-speed transmission in 1/10 scale touring cars.

Instruction manual

REQUIRES: Fuel with 10%-30% nitromethane and 16% (minimum) oil content
Use 2-stroke fuel with 10%-20% nitromethane as a starting point.
OS recommends using 20% then changing if necessary.
Manifold, Tuned Pipe, & Coupler:

Clutch assembly and linkage set-we currently do not carry a four-
stroke fitting kit

COMMENTS: As a general rule, 4-stroke engines in touring car applications
produce good low end torque and perform well with 2-speed
transmissions. However, different performance characteristics can
be obtained from different gearing setups.

For Valve Adjustment Tools use OSMG6334

Needle Setting: 2 turns OUT from closed position per page 15 of
manual.
Throttle Stop Screw: Set so there is a minimum opening of 2mm
in the carb when set at idle per page 15 of manual.

recommendations.
