TECH NOTES
     This is the OS Max .40FX High-Performance Engine. The FX series engines
are used in Sport and Aerobatic Aircraft and are designed to use a muffler
or tuned pipe. All FX engines are covered under O.S.'s 2-YEAR Warranty


FEATURES: 1-piece crankcase
          Twin ball bearing-supported crankshaft
          Schnuerle porting (Schnuerle scavenging)
          ABN construction (Aluminum piston with a Nickel Brass cylinder); this
            is a Non-Ringed engine
          Side exhaust
          New carburetor with remote needle mounted on the backplate of the
            engine (to keep fingers away from the spinning propeller).

REQUIRES: Long Glow Plug (O.S. #8 recommended-OSMG2691)
          Fuel with 20% (minimum) lubricant content and 5%-15% Nitromethane
            (All the 5%-15% fuels we carry meet these requirements)
COMMENTS: If the customer wants to use a standard carburetor on this engine,
            use, OSMG2448 #4D Carb
                 OSMG4126 Backplate (rear cover)
          Note: The piston/cylinder from the .46FX WILL NOT interchange with
                this engine.

THIS IS AN R/C SPORT AIRPLANE ENGINE.  STARTING EQUIPMENT IS IN AIRPLANE ACG.
COMES WITH MUFFLER W/PRESSURE FITTING AND REMOTE NEEDLE VALVE.
REQUIRES GLOW PLUG, PROP, AND FUEL.
