OSMG0872 O.S. FS-70 II Surpass
TECH NOTES
This is the FS 70 Surpass II Four-Stroke Engine from O.S. Max.
Used for .40 to .46 sized model airplanes.
Based on the features used in the original FS-70 Surpass, and
refined for ease of use and reliability.

FEATURES: New carburetor and tapered needle for smooth throttle response.
90-degree pressure fitting in crankcase routes blow-by to intake
manifold, resulting in a cleaner running engine.
Carburetor is mounted on centerline of the engine.
Both carburetor adjustment needles are located on one side of
            carburetor, for easy adjustment.
          Black anodized rocker arm cover.
          Larger muffler for quieter operation.
Crankcase vent is now connected to the intake manifold by silicone
tubing. This keeps the inside of the cowling cleaner.

INCLUDES: One FS-70S II Four-Stroke Engine.
          One Type #F Glow Plug
          One F-4020 Silencer
          One Exhaust Header Pipe
(Wrenches, Choke Valve Extension, and Mounting Template Are No
             Longer Included per O.S.)

REQUIRES: Fuel: 10%-20% nitromethane with 18% lubricant. Synthetic, castor, or
a synthetic/castor lubricant blend may be used.
NOTE: Certain four-cycle fuels cannot be used due to low oil content.
However, SOME four-cycle fuels such as the Wildcat 4-Cycle 15%
(CATP9109) may be used due to its 18% oil content.
When choosing fuels for this engine, the modeler must be sure to
select a fuel with at least a 18% lubricant content.
          Starting and Field Equipment.

COMMENTS: Recommended for .40 to .46 sized aircraft.
After Run Oil Is Highly Recommended.
The new Surpass engines (Version II and III) have more power than
their predecessors and they also have more corrosion prevention
on the inside of the crankcases.
