          This is a 1/48 F14A Tomcat Plastic Model Jet Aircraft Kit.
     Skill Level 2 for ages 10 to Adult, Intermediate to Advanced Modelers.

Prototype Information: Grumman F-14A Tomcat
      The F-14A Tomcat was designed to be the US Navy's first line of
    defense against hostile aircraft.  Powered by twin Pratt & Whitney TF-30
    engines and featuring variable geometry wings, the F-14A is the only plane
    in the Navy inventory able to carry the Phoenix missile which can hit a
    target from over 80 miles away when guided by the Tomcat's avionics.

FEATURES: Detailed 1/48th scale for static display only
          155 parts in light grey and clear with fine recessed panel lines
          Accurately reproduced intakes, and early style TF-30 exhaust nozzles
          Cockpit detail: control yoke, instrument panels, (2) 4-part
            GRU-7 seats, throttles, side panels, (2) crew figures with
            poseable head and arm.
          Ordnance includes: sidewinder (2), sparrow (4), and Phoenix
            (6) missiles
          Canopy may be posed open or closed and wings are moveable
          RANDOME nose cone may be left off to reveal the radar unit inside

            plus stencils for aircraft and missiles.

            airbrush and associated accessories

            Major components - liquid plastic cement (Testors, TENAX 7R)
            Clear parts - White glue, odorless CA, or TENAX 7R
            Detail parts - CA or tube-type (thick) plastic cement.
