          This is a 1/220 U.S.S. Lionfish Submarine Plastic Model Kit.
       This is a skill level 2 for intermediate modelers, ages 10 and up.

     The submarine proved to be the demise of virtually the entire Japanese
merchant fleet during World War II in the Pacific.  It was also effective in
scouting the location and movement of enemy ships and transporting raiding
parties and coastal lookouts to Japanese held locales.  It had six forward
torpedo tubes and four aft tubes.
