       This is a 1/700 Plastic Japanese Battleship MUSASHI from Tamiya.
                           For ages 10 and over.

     Since the arrival of the gun in the history of warfare, it has controlled
the battlefield for centuries.  Through time, the calibre has been enlarged
gradually and the large capital ships of WWII bore witness to this.  The
MUSASHI was engineered and born as the final hope for Japanese navy in that
time.  This giant battleship was planned to be born 1934, and this official
displacement was up to 70,000 tons: this is still the biggest in the world.
Most of main countries which had the naval were trying to develop the plan
enforcing the naval because the Washington Treaty of 1922 prohibiting on the
construction of new battleship according to the its size, weight, and armaments
were supposed to be expired in those days.
